Al Jazeera reporter has mocked the Kenyan government posing with Al Shabaab commanders said to be killed in airstrikes a few years ago. Hamza Mohamed has claimed that he met Al Shabaab commanders whom the Kenyan government had announced that they had killed in airstrikes. Hamza is a British national who works for Al Jazeera as a producer and reporter covering Sub-Saharan Africa. The Al Jazeera reporter recently interviewed Al Shabaab’s spokesman, Sheikh Ali Mohamed Rage, in Somalia.

According to an article in one of UK's leading publications, The Economist, an officer with Britain’s National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service, states that about 79,000 cars were stolen from Britain in 2015.
In the article, police unit investigating the syndicate said the vehicles were shipped to Kenya through the ports of Mombasa to Uganda, Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, Boma in Congo and Oman where they were sold.

The African Union (AU) says the al-Qaeda-linked armed group, al-Shabab, is planning attacks in Somalia using AU troop uniforms as disguises.
The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) said the uniforms were stolen by al-Shabab fighters from military camps belonging to the 22,000-strong UN-mandated mission.
"AMISOM has information that due to panic [al-Shabab] have plans to masquerade as AMISOM and dress in AMISOM troop's uniforms," AMISOM said in a statement on its Twitter account.
